Mirapex
I saw a commercial for Mirapex (pramipexole), a medication prescribed for Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome. Aside from the usual slew of side effects, I noticed that a few of the rare adverse effects included: increased urges to gamble and overeating.
First, I have been trying to gain weight for a long time now. I stand at 5-9, 134 lbs, so this drug is a possible alternative to my current diet of junk food and disgusting protein shakes. My main problem is not eating when I am not hungry.
Second, the increased likelihood of compulsive gambling has some real practical use in poker games. Often, I am sitting in a boring poker game where everyone is playing tight. What if I were to slip Mirapex into people's drinks like the girl predators in the nightclubs? Suddenly, the middle-aged guy will open his range in early position! Sometimes, I get into a mechanical rut where I am not playing loose enough. Maybe I can take some of this stuff and boom, I become a loose-aggressive maniac. Now, if there is a drug that can increase gambling urges, then why does one not exist for the problems gamblers of the world?

They're working on it. Similar to the stop smoking type drugs (obviously much more in need than the stop-gambling drugs), these things are going to be coming out more and more. The killer money-maker will be the stop-wanting-to-eat drug..
